Hello,
I found some references to this topic here and there but I am looking for some perspective on progressing my career. Some background:Started in IT as a Developer which transitioned into a role as a Sys Admin and Assistant Director Job.I decided programming wasn't for me so I mMoved into the Network field and worked for a telecom and eventually found myself working as a post sales engineer for an integrator. From there it was on to Pre-Sales engineer and Consultant and now I manage a small team of consultants for a fairly large Integrator/Reseller.The question is? Where to from here? My original Career path was to work in consulting for 5 to 7 years and I am now in my 9th year. I've made good progress, but now I've lost my taste for the wheeling and dealing. Where does one go from here? IT Management? Other careers? Or just keep plugging away?
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
